Anytime during the school year, you can drop-off your old cell phones, empty laser and inkjet cartridges, laptops, iPods, PDAs, video games and consoles, scientific graphing calculators, digital cameras, DVDs, GPS devices and iPads, tablets, and tablet readers to the front office (Attn.: Newhart Technology Recycling Program for Cartridges For Kids).

Fraction Nation & Fast Math

FASTTMath and Fraction Nation (for STUDENT use on a Newhart MS computer…these programs cannot be accessed from home):

Whooping Cough Vaccination Requirement

Whooping cough (pertussis) has been widespread in California. Many students have had to miss school because they were sick. To help protect your children and others from whooping cough, a new California law now requires students to be vaccinated against whooping cough.

For the 2011-12 school year only, all students entering 7th through 12th grades will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (commonly called the “Tdap” vaccine) before starting school.

Thereafter, in future school years, only students entering 7th grade will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (Tdap) before starting school. Please see the following resources (downloadable PDFs) for more information:
