Futureology is a free CUSD service to help students and families in the district make informed decisions by providing personalized guidance during the college and career planning process. Currently, one-on-one appointments are only available to high school students but middle school families can register and attend events and workshops!!

2017-18 HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL APPLICATIONS AND INFORMATION FOR CCP AND HEALTH
CURRENT 8TH GRADERS!!
Please click on the link below to access/print the summer school application for CCP and/or HEALTH through CUSD. Please note that the first day applications will be accepted is April 10, 2017 beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the attendance window. Registration continues from April 10 - May 12, 2017. Enroll early. Space is limited and enrollment may close prior to May 12, 2017 if program is filled.

Access applications are due back to Karen Elgin beginning April 25 through June 1, 2017. Please return only the first 6 pages of the Access application to Karen Elgin. The other pages will be turned in directly to Access. Enroll as early as possible. Space is limited.

CAPO HIGH SCHOOL CHALLENGE FORM
If you feel your child was not placed in the correct high school courses, you may challenge Capo's recommendation. If you would like to level up or level down, you will need to fill out the challenge form and return it to Karen Elgin in Newhart's office. Please read the form carefully as there are requirements if the class change occurs.

CVHS will be coming to Newhart's MPR on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 6pm!! They will be answering questions and discussing the high school experience. If you have specific questions that you would like answered, please click on the link below and fill out the form prior to the visit.

Calling all student volunteers!! Earn the Panther Pride Award by demonstrating outstanding citizenship and donating your time with service hours! Tutoring for our Homework Club is a great way to earn points!! Don't wait! Applications and service hours must be submitted by April 7, 2017! Pick up an application in the office or print it from the link! It will also be in your registration packet!
New To The District? Let's Test Your Child For Math Placement!
Please click on the link below for information on qualifying to enroll in an accelerated math course. Please go to the section titled “MATH PLACEMENT INFO FOR STUDENTS TRANSFERRING INTO CAPISTRANO USD IN FALL 2015” on the district’s math website at http://capousd.ca.schoolloop.com/math . In that section, the attached math course placement testing info, criteria, and dates/times/location documents are available for download, as well as a new link to a Google form named, “MATH COURSE PLACEMENT TESTING REGISTRATION FORM”. Parents are now asked to register their child for math course placement testing by completing that form. If you have any questions, please contact your child's academic advisor.
