Hello! My name is Reannah Sartoris and this is my eighth year teaching at Newhart Middle School. This year I will be teaching 8th grade English and Yearbook; I am excited to be back at Newhart and to be a part of such an amazing school!

Some background about me: I received a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and my Teaching Credential in 2003 both from San Diego State University. (Go Aztecs!) I lived in San Diego for 8 years and, although I am still a Charger and Padre fan at heart, I could not be happier living in South Orange County and teaching at a fabulous school such as Newhart! 8th grade is an exciting time in a student’s life- one full of new experiences, friends and academic growth. I feel fortunate to be a part of this development and growth in your children and look forward to preparing them for the big transition to high school!

In addition to teaching, I am a single mom of two boys: Trevor, age 8, going into 3rd grade and Sean, age 12, going into 7th grade. As a family we enjoy running, hiking, hanging out at the beach and hanging out at our family cabin in Big Bear. Below are a few fun family photos!
