Newhart Middle School’s Back to School Night

Thursday, August 31, 2017

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Dear Parents,

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend Newhart Middle School’s Back to School Night. We are excited about sharing our middle school program with you. Back to School night is a special night exclusively for parents or guardians of students enrolled in our school.  Since this is an evening for parents, we ask that students not attend.

This evening is designed to provide you with an opportunity to visit your child’s classes and meet his or her teachers. During the fifteen minutes in each class, the teachers will explain their instructional programs, discuss learning objectives and display instructional materials and textbooks. Although there is no time for individual conferences, appointments can be made with teachers if there is a need to do so.

Parking is available in the front lot, the back black top, the Senior Center, the soccer center and along Veterans Way; however we strongly encourage carpooling.  We recommend bringing a flashlight if necessary as it could be dark before the end of the program.

Coffee and treats will be provided by the Newhart Middle School’s PTA in the library.

Newhart Middle School will be on a minimum day schedule on FRIDAY, the day after, Back to School night and will be dismissed at 12:45 p.m.

Best wishes for a wonderful evening!

Sincerely,

Jeff Jones

Principal
