Did you know that elementary and middle school students in the Capistrano Unified School District (CUSD) may enroll in Capistrano Home School or Capistrano Virtual School? Parents may homeschool their students utilizing CUSD textbooks and materials or parents may enroll their students in CUSD’s online/virtual elementary and middle school. CUSD credentialed teachers provide support to students and parents in both programs.  In addition, elementary students may participate in music at their neighborhood CUSD elementary school and middle school students have the opportunity to enroll in up to two classes at their resident CUSD middle school.

Did you know that high school students in the Capistrano Unified School District may enroll in Cal Prep Academy – an online/blended high school?  Cal Prep Academy is an online college prep high school where students have the benefits and flexibility of a virtual curriculum blended with face-to-face instruction with highly qualified Capistrano Unified teachers.  Students have the opportunity to enroll in up to two courses at their resident CUSD high school, while taking their other classes online.  The two classes at the student’s resident high school may include athletic team sports, band, orchestra, and theater. Students may also participate in school activities at their resident high school such as clubs and dances.
